How to reach the Hotel

For who arriving by car, please note that since 1 January 2008 there has been a low-emission zone ('Umweltzone') in Berlin city centre. Vehicles can only drive in this area if they fulfil certain emission standards. To show this, they need to have a green badge attached to their windscreen. The badge can be bought at all vehicle registration centres or online from www.umwelt-plakette.de/plakettenshop.php. The Hotel Palace Berlin is in the low-emission zone.

For who arriving by train, on the local railway to Bahnhof Zoo station: the Hotel is 5 minutes walking. On the mainline service to Berlin Hauptbahnhof station, the Hotel is 8 minutes by taxi. More informations on transport: www.bahn.de or www.bvg.de.

For who arriving from the airport, from Berlin-Tegel to Zoologischer Garten stop takes about 20 minutes and there is a bus every 10 minutes ; from Berlin Brandenburg airport to Zoologischer Garten takes about 33 minutes. The specially marked regional trains on routes RE7 and RB14 leave every half an hour.These trains can be used with local public transport tickets. The route is in fare zone C.
