Survival analysis is a powerful statistical methodology widely used in the medical research. Getting close the 40th anniversary of Cox paper on proportional hazard model, Life Science Academy is dedicating the second European Statistical Forum to the use of survival analysis within the context of medical research and drug development.

The Conference is designed to explore the potential of survival analysis now and in the future by bringing together experts in the field.

Specific attention will be deserved to the most advanced methodological aspects of Survival Analyses, from Sample Size issues to Competing Risks aspects, considering also Survival Analyses implementation into Adaptive designs and Bayesian framework.
