In 1989 she graduated cum laude in Statistics and Demography at the Faculty of Statistics Bologna University

Associate Professor of Statistics, Faculty of Statistical Sciences, University of Bologna.

Teaching
At the Faculty of Statistical Sciences, Bologna University:
since 1998 Biometry,
since 2001 Epidemiology,
since 2005: Survival Analysis.
At the Faculty of Medicine, Bologna University
since 2000: Medical Statistics for several specialisation schools
At the Faculty of Medicine, Modena University:
since 2007 specialisation degree course in “Statistica applicata ai quesiti clinici”

She is a member of the teaching staff of the Phd program in Statistical methods for scientific research

Membership of Scientific Societies and services in Scientific Journals

The International Biometric society (IBS),the Italian Statistical Society (SIS)and the International Environmetric Society (TIES).

From 2005 to 2009 has been member of the Executive Board of the Italian Region of the International Biometric society

Since 2011: Statistical Associate Editor of Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine
