Sophie Barthel

Sophie’s primary research interest lies in sample size issues, particularly concerning survival endpoints, multi-stage trials, and treatment covariate interaction designs. Recent work also includes the analysis of microarray data using gaussian graphical models. Sophie is currently a tutor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a statistical consultant. She has previously conducted research at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit, the Institute of Psychiatry and GlaxoSmithKline. In addition, Sophie works clinically as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist.
