He graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Florence. After severals years at the University, in 1989 he entered in the Medical Direction of Ely Lilly Italia where he covered many positions and now he is Scientific Writer.

Author of over 250 national and international publications and articles, including more than 40 articles for peer-reviewed magazines. He is the author and co-author of many articles for which he was quoted for aknoledgments and he is peer reviewer of some prestigious magazines.

He is a member of important scientific organizations as EMWA and BIAS; he takes part as speaker and chairman of many conferences for SSFA and BIAS. Furthermore he is speaker of several seminars for specialised medical school in the most important Italian University.
