Writing a paper for
publication
Lisa Squassante, APTUIT
Statistical topics deserving
publishing do not always have to be methodologically innovative,
nor swamped by tough formulas nor underpinned by sophisticated
statistical approaches. This talk will describe the process of
writing a paper, illustrated with a real-life statistical issue
which led to a helpful solution applied to clinical research, as
well as to a scientific publication. Particular emphasis will be
given to the relevance of graphical tools as key visual aid in
exploring data and in presenting statistical findings in this
context.
